Cousin Adeline the author

Mia's cousin Adeline lives in Maine and sent her a VERY special gift. Not only her favorite outfit when she was a baby, but a book written and illustrated especially for Mia (handmade life size character included) titled The Green Dog Named Mia . Dennis and I were also lucky enough to be part of this very special story. Adeline was even nice enough to bind the pages in plastic, so we can keep the book for years to come.

Mia has decided that she likes not having snow around. This is her first attempt up the stairs.

Sunday was beautiful. Spring is near. Mia met Jonathan at Dunn Brothers Coffee shop before we took a walk over to Wild Rumpus book store.

We decided that Spring was not a good season to sport a mullet and we made the hard decision to let it go.

The quiet before the storm...

Mia had a little play date (while the moms' had a wine date) at Oscar's on Friday evening. Mia woke up that night at 3:00am with 104.8 fever! We later found out that all of the children at the play date had a similar virus. They look so innocent here, but in a matter of days it all changed.

Poor Ollie

Our little Oliver is having a slight kidney problem and this was the only thing we could do until the medicine kicked in. You can tell he isn't very happy and it did only last one day. It was fun having two little ones in diapers. He is feeling much better and diaper-free. 

She is off to pick up more groceries

She uses our car keys to start her walker. I'm not going to break the news to her that it doesn't work that way.
