We're Back
Hello everyone-
We've been absent for quite some time now and I'm sitting in the Minneapolis airport with a bit of a delay. Things have been very busy over the last couple of months. We've moved, closed on our house and are in the midst of construction. We plan to move into the house sometime in January. We're staying in corporate housing right now. Mia is adjusting really well. She is the funniest person I know right now and am really having fun hanging out with her. We just received new pictures of Ms. Pearl. She is looking more and more like Mia to us. I'll update this weekend with some pics of the Lou for all our Minnesota friends. Happy Holidays to everyone and we are really looking forward to a great 2007.

Meet Ms. Pearl Liliana McGrath
(Mia in Pink + Pearl in Yellow)
We are so happy to add Pearl to our family. She is healthy and happy and couldn't ask for a better big sister. Dennis and I are amazed at how much she resembles Mia. Mia is a bit confused. Every time we say Pearl, she says "No!" Pearl is over seven pounds and very animated already. We hope to have her home in May or June.
Things have been moving so fast for us. Let's see--we've had a baby, bought a house, sold a house all in less than a month. For as crazy as it has been, it really did all fall into place. Dennis starts his new job on the 13th of November and I'll just transfer my current position after a week or two of getting settled. Our new house is in the historic district of St.Louis. It is a very large old home that needs a ton of work. I think it is a project and Dennis thinks it is an architectural gem in the rough. It is just what we were looking for (we think-check back with us in a month or two) I'll post updated pictures of Pearl when we get them.

Mia's New Chronic Condition
Mia has become the chronic hugging bandit. Lately, she is loving everyone and everything. Her teachers report to us that she hugs pretty much all day. Here is an example of her affliction in action.

momma's in phoenix!
momma -- we took a drive to the wedge, we ate at the dinner table. we had milk, lasagne, mashed potatoes and fruit. we watched some jack. we took a bath, brushed our teeth, took a bottle and fell asleep by 8:00pm. tomorrow is picture day at kinderberry
